 The Trip:  Long time Trek Outfitter Carlos Olano and his wife Olga moved to Bolivia about eight years ago and to say Carlos has been instrumental in bringing Bolivia dove hunting up to where is today is an understatement. It is doubtful there is a better dove scout today than Carlos Olano. His innate sense of knowing where the birds are and where they might be headed has earned him this reputation. Whether you want to shoot in the fields, along a flyway,or near the roost, Olano can orchestrate it and it won’t be far away. Carlos also has great equipment and vehicles for safe and comfortable travel. The Olano’s are second generation outfitters from Colombia and have been part of the Trek family since the early 80’s and are very excited to offer their wonderful new home to our clients. Getting there is easy with daily flights into Santa Cruz where you will be whisked away to your waiting 25 minute charter flight that will land on the property.

The Accommodations:  This year has been a special one as Carlos and Olga as they have opened their brand new La Leyenda Lodge and it has received nothing but rave reviews for its service and hospitality.  The lodge features six tastefully designed bedrooms, a wonderful dining room and lounge as well as nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. You will want for nothing here at La Leyenda as they specialize in catering to small intact groups that want the best food and service possible.

The Shooting:  The day you arrive on the property, you’ll have time for an afternoon shoot followed by two or three more shooting days before one last morning hunt and an overnight at a five star hotel in Santa Cruz. Your return flight will be a day flight having you home in the same day.
