Whether you seek giant marlin, big pacific sails, super-sized dorado, or monster yellowfins that will test the limits of your angling abilities, Panama is your one-stop destination to check these and many more prized sportfishing species off your bucket list. Paradise Lodge is one of the finest all-inclusive properties you’ll find anywhere in terms of both hospitality and premier fishing operations. Its location in the Gulf of Chiriqui provides convenient accessibility to offshore hotspots such as Hannibal Bank and Montuosa Island, as well as prime access to incredible inshore fishing for roosterfish and snapper.

We have designed a five-day, four-night trip with three full days of heart pounding saltwater action in one of the world’s most prolific fisheries. Your trip begins in Panama City, where you will be met and be transferred 4-5 hours by ground to the Paradise Lodge, just in time for cold drinks around the pool while dinner is being prepared. The next 3 days you will head out early for full days of rod bending action. On the morning of day five, you will be transferred back to Panama City in time for your scheduled international departure.

Most anglers have heard of the famed Isla Montuosa, Isla Ladrones and Isla Coiba fisheries, and these areas are certainly within striking distance in our fleet of brand new 27′ Contenders. However, even closer to the lodge, there are numerous areas offering the greatest variety of species; roosterfish, grouper, snapper and the like, that you will likely ever encounter. Although this is the basic itinerary, we can certainly customize it for those who wish to spend more time in Panama City to see the cultural and historic sites of this international city.

The lodge sports boats in the 27′ range, all fully outfitted with the finest equipment for trolling, bait casting and spin fishing. Your local captain and mate have extensive regional knowledge, and they will definitely put you in the fish. Lodge owner Chad Marquis has personally overseen every aspect of the design and construction of this little piece of heaven, and he is on site to see to your every need.

This is a very “hands on” operation run by a serious fisherman, for fishermen, so, whether it is casting to schools of jacks, trolling live blue runners for roosters, bottom bumping for giant cubera snapper and grouper, or trying your luck at one of the numerous drops for giant yellowfin tuna and monster marlin, you are sure to enjoy a week of great fishing action.

Paradise Lodge offers six spacious, air-conditioned villas, each with two beds and sitting area. Your villa will be just steps from the pool, as well as the lodge’s open-air restaurant and bar which provide anglers with a picturesque venue for sharing stories of each day’s conquests.
