Argentina Red Stag Hunting – TGB Outfitters
For the perfect mix of big game and birds, look no further than Loncopue in La Pampa. Alejandro Trigo has built this operation into a first class experience for the hunter and has offered Trek and exclusive trophy hunt for Red Stag along with wingshooting or hunt for European Boar.
Your Argentina Red Stag hunting adventure begins following an overnight flight into Buenos Aires, where you will connect with a flight bound for Sana Rosa, capital of La Pampa, arriving midday. Alejandro, or one of his staff, will meet you at the airport for your ninety minute transfer to the lodge where you will have a chance to scope your rifle this afternoon. The following six days will be full hunting days in search of a trophy stag with bird shooting mixed in or European Boar hunt. The final day you will have one last opportunity to harvest an animal, if you have not done so, before your flight back to B.A. and overnight flight home.
In our efforts to provide the complete combination of Red Stag hunts, we are offering a hunt in TGB’s designated trophy area that is 2,000 acres of very challenging hunting. This is not your typical high fence preserve, but is a thick forest of Calden trees and all hunting is done on foot, stalking the trophy stag you are after with one of TGB’s expert guides. March through April is prime time for stag as these brutes will be roaring adding to the thrill of this hunt.
Should you want to take other animals, you will also come across large Blackbuck, Fallow & Axis deer, and even Water Buffalo. Trek is promoting a six day, seven night hunt that includes a 300-315 SCI point stag and either two days of wingshooting for dove and pigeon or one free range European Boar no size limit. Trigo plants a forty acre corn field each year solely for attracting the large boars and has certainly produced. The wingshooting is amazing with a large roost close to the ranch where you can expect to shoot 15-20 boxes in an afternoon. If you are after a large stag and wanting to experience the doves of Argentina, TGB is your place.
Loncopue owner Alejandro Trigo has spared no expense on his wonderful lodge situated at the highest point of his ranch. You can enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the large porch while relaxing before Ms. Amanda’s famous Peruvian inspired meals. The lodge was built four years ago and is 3700 square feet with a huge great room and open bar along with four double occupancy bedrooms each with theirownprivatebathrooms.Trigoisfantastichost and welcomes you with open arms to experience what he says is his passion.
