Guatemala for Sailfish

This beautiful, highly cultural country is also home to some of the very best Pacific sail fishing in the world. The perfect venue for conventional or the fly fisherman, Guatemala is home to many saltwater world records. We will be fishing from boats in the 28 to 32 foot range with upgrades to boats in the 43 ft range available. Accommodations will be either the Hotel Villas del Pacifico, one of the newly opened first class lodges, or one of the deluxe private residences we have leased for those looking for more privacy. The sail fishing here is excellent throughout the entire year, but the absolute peak time is from December through May when daily billfish releases can easily top 30 per boat. After 3 or 4 days of this type of non-stop sailfish action, you should plan to take a few days to relax and experience the natural beauty and history of Guatemala. The famous ruins of Tikal, and Copan, as well as the historic city of Antigua are easily accessed from Guatemala City.
