Canada
Our northern friends in Canada offer a wide range of fishing activities that will satisfy any angler. We are fortunate enough to offer four excellent trips that cover most angling scenarios in Canada. They are Pine Island Lodge in Manitoba, Wollaston Lake Lodge in Saskatchewan, Northwest Fishing Guides in British Columbia and Great Bear Lake in the Northwest Territories.
Pine Island is the perfect location that is remotely situated but an easy two hour drive northeast from Winnipeg and a 45-minute boat ride up the Winnipeg River. Here you will cast rocky points for Smallmouths, test Crowduck Lake for walleyes and head up the back waters for the toothy pike. Owners Brian and Barbara Burgess are wonderful hosts and their laid back style makes you feel right at home. Great fun and a good bargain for family members.
Wollaston Lake Lodge offers a great four day fishing trip adventure in northern Saskatchewan for monster pike, Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout. Beautiful country with over 800 square miles of water from which to fish. Wollaston offers a top notch lodge with great service and knowledgeable guides. Fly out ventures are also offered to reach those very remote areas near Wollaston. Along with pike over 40 inches, they offer excellent opportunities on Lake Trout. Walleye, and Arctic Grayling. Easy logistics are also a big plus here as you simply fly into Winnipeg and then charter some two hours north to Wollaston where the fun begins.
Northwest Fishing Guides offers a lodge and great guiding experience to one of the most beautiful places on earth. Fishing for five species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout as well as Dolly Varden. The Skeena River also offers some of the best Steelhead Salmon found anywhere. You need only to arrange a flight to Terrace, B.C. and owner Noel Gyger will take care of you the rest of the way. Three to seven days fishing can be arranged.
Great Bear Lake - If you are looking for the lunker Lake Trout you will need not look any further. Great Bear offers record-breaking trout to over 70 pounds as well as pike, grayling and Arctic Char on the famous Tree River. You will have the option from fishing at the main lodge or one of the more specialized outposts. Owner Chummy Plummer has taken Great Bear to new heights with a highly organized fishing adventure to the great Northwest Territories. Lots of history here as well as world class angling. Options to travel include airfare from Winnipeg or Edmonton.
